The world-known Finnish metal band Apocalyptica is gearing
up to start their extensive North American and European tour to
promote their seventh studio album, 7th Symphony.  To ensure that
they can deliver an unforgettable and energetic performance for
their fans in each city and country, Apocalyptica teamed up with
Battery Energy Drink. This co-operation did not happen by chance.
The band is known to enjoy a can of Battery before taking the stage
and their tour bus is always stocked up for those long stretches on

Battery Original energy drink in a design-award-winning re-closable bottle is back in Norwegian market. When limited edition of the pack was launched earlier this year in selected gas stations and convenience stores, the demand was over-whelming. It simply had to come back.

Battery energy drink is new energising sponsor of Folven Camping at Stryn summerski resort in Norway. The location experienced a formidable rejuvenation earlier this year when premier clothing designer and manufacturer Moods of Norway (amongst others) purchased the resort. New improvements and greatly increased activation level is expected to take place. Battery energy drink is taking an active role in restructuring the area’s skate park and live music facilities.

Saturday, the 1st of May 2010, an agreement between Battery energy drink and the Pirita Surf Club and School was signed. The cooperation agreement makes Battery the new main sponsor of the Wind Surf School and Club, located in Pirita beach in Tallinn, and the club will be named after the main sponsor as Battery Pirita Surf Club.

Battery favours all passionate and committed people and that is exactly what the surfers are. Through supporting the Battery Pirita Surf Club and School, Battery wishes to give an additional boost to windsurfing – a field of sports that has strongly developed and gained popularity over the past years in Estonia.

Battery Pirita Windsurfing School is a place for young people who want to combine beach with sports. In the same building with the school is also the surf club that offers surfers a place to stow their gear, take training courses, wait for the wind in a cosy place and relax in the hot sauna after surfing. The club is opened not only to the members of the windsurfing association but to everyone who love the sea and surfing.
