Battery Energy Drink has joined forces with the Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish. The band has sold more than 7 million records worldwide and released their latest album “Imaginaerum” in December 2011. The album’s first single release “Storytime” is a radio hit all over Europe, and its’ music video has been watched over 1,7 million times on YouTube in the two months since its release. Furthermore, “Imaginaerum” became the best selling album of 2011 in Finland – with just one month’s album sales.

Nightwish was formed in 1996 in Kitee, Finland, by songwriter and keyboardist Tuomas Holopainen. Nightwish’s current line-up: Tuomas Holopainen, vocalist Anette Olzon, bassist and male vocalist Marco Hietala, guitarist Emppu Vuorinen and drummer Jukka Nevalainen.

Battery Energy Drink is the official energy drink of Nightwish on their world tour in 2012.
