Team Võsa – How it all began
Team Võsa was born through the initiative of Tige and Penny in 2001. The initial idea was to do Bush Surfing or to be slightly punk. The first rides were carried out with unique rarity gear and in really rough conditions. That’s what led Team Võsa to become the unique team that introduced so called Winter Windsurfing to the whole of Europe. They put on their calypsos and warm mittens and went for it regardless of the time of the year, as long as the water and air were above zero degrees.
Over the years, Team Võsa has brought together people with true surfer spirit. Many members have taken podium places in competitions, and some of them could even be considered true models of windsurfing. The members of Team Võsa value nature and taking care of the sea above all else – these are their priorities, and they live by them.Team Võsa is the best in its class when it comes to video diaries. Wherever they surf – let it be ice pools, big waves or the Estonian song festival grounds – it will be recorded onto their video diary, ensuring that the whole world has a chance to see what they do.Penny
