Tuomo Naalisvaara World Cup reportPublished on 19.9.2013 20:41
Professional Windsurfing Association (PWA) Wave World Cup in Klitmöller, Denmark went down in challenging conditions for B-Squad’s Tuomo.
Located in the coastline of the Northsea, Klitmöller has one of the best waves and wind conditions of Europe. That is when the storms from the Atlantic hit this corner of Jylland, but it did not happen this time.
Tuomo had to make it through the trials in order to get a spot with the 32 guys competing in the main event. Sometimes the weather doesn’t cooperate, and Tuomo was not able to advance. “So we did the trials in almost zero wind but with nice waves. I was in the first heat, and we had to re-sail it three times until we could get it finished. Anyway, I did my best but this time it was not enough. I was not happy about that, but I just couldn’t sail any better, as light wind is favoring the smaller guys.”
B-Squad’s Tuomo will stay training in Klitmöller until the next World Cup event in Sylt, Germany. Good luck.
