Battery Energy Drink is a proud supporter of Caretta Technology RTG (Racing Team Germany). Team is competing in the former 125cc class World Championship Grand Prix category, now titled Moto3. Racing Team Germany’s young and dynamic team is an excellent addition to Battery Energy Drink’s roster with their high-speed sport. “We wanted to team up with Battery Energy Drink because it is the premium energy drink on the market. The products look and taste good so it really is something we want to offer to our fans and partners”, says RTG’s representative Hendrik Heyrman.
For 2014 Moto3 season RTG’s team will be Spanish racer Efrén Vásquez who finished 9th in the 2013 World Standings and John McPhee from UK whose final standing was 19th in 2013. Team RTG finished the past season with both of their riders in the top 20 overall points and they are preparing for a strong 2014 season fuelled by Battery Energy Drink.
Moto3 basics: The 4-stroke, 250cc, single-cylinder class replaced the 125cc GP category in 2012. The maximum age for riders is 28 (25 for wild-card riders or those newly contracted and competing in a Moto3 for the first time) and the minimum age is 16. A Grand Prix event takes place over three days, with the first two of those for practice and qualification for each class. (Source: http://www.motogp.com/en/MotoGP+Basics/overview)
