The 2012 MX calendars have been approved by the FIM, the governing motorcycle federation and released yesterday by Youthstream.
Antti will continue his career in the MX3 class next season… “With the goal to become World Champion.” was his firm statement.

“There will be 13 MX3 World Championship events and that is a good number”, said Antti who rides with number 213 on his bike. “The championship kicks off in Valkenswaard, Holland, a place I know really well as I lived in that country for several years and I know the tracks. Valkenswaard is a ‘classic’ on the calendar. It’s a heavy sand track and with the right preparations I should do well.”

“Valkenswaard will be a spectacular event because we race together with the MX1 and MX2 class on the same date on the same track. This is new for the upcoming season. Several other races will be run the same way later on in the season.”

Two dates on the calendar have a TBA (To Be Announced) which means the country and venue will be selected on a later date. One option could be Ukraine where the MX3 riders went this year. The MX3 GP in Finland will be a highlight for Antti as it is his home race. Here the venue has not yet been selected.
