How did you get into snowboarding: Tried it at my local hill Laajavuori and got addicted.
Greatest snowboarding memory: I have a lot of good memories on board. Some of them come from nailing a really good shot on a filming session. And some come from a really nice riding day with friends at the hill. Hard to say what’s the best memory on board because there are a lot of good memories.
Greatest achievement outside snowboarding: Doing twenty push-up’s
Things you love in snowboarding: The creativity of the sport. You really don’t have to do the triple corks to be a respected snowboarder.
Worst part about snowboarding: Injuries. Definitely.
How to get back from an injury: The first part is to make the decision to get back on hill and be stronger than before. After that you just need time and the motivation to stick to the decision.
What trick would you do the whole day: Maybe fs 360?
Best spot you have hit: If I have to say which spot & shot I’m most stoked on I think it would be the curved kink rail in Jyväskylä, at the baseball stadium. I boardslided it in 2012. You can see it for example in my Snake Bite Recut at 2:30
How do you get inspired: I get inspired by watching snowboarding videos.
Favorite person to ride with: Toni Kerkelä
Favorite KBR movie: Golden Years
Craziest thing that has happened on a snowboarding trip: There’s nothing crazy going on on snowboarding trips.
Best thing to do without Internet connection after a day of shredding: Go to sauna and have a nice dinner with your buddies.
What would you do if you were not a snowboarder: Make real movies and that’s probably what I’m going to do after my snowboarding career.
Future goals: To get many good years on board, enjoy snowboading and get video sections that I’m stoked about.
Your favourite Battery Energy Drink: Original and Sugarfree. Mixed up.
Do you have a secret talent: Karaoke.
